  • Shrimp Dinner - $8.00
  • Battered Cod - $7.50
  • Shrimp and Cod Combo plate $9.00
  • Clam Chowder - $5.00.
  • Baked Tilapia Filet - $8.00
  • (All meals served with steak fries, coleslaw, roll & butter.)
  • (A free beverage bar (coffee, iced tea, punch and water) is also available with your meal.)
  • Child's plate (1/2 portion of any of the above except Tilapia) - $4.00


 

 

 

ADOPT - A- HIGHWAY  TRASH  CLEAN-UP   

 (A COUNCIL, COMMUNITY ACTIVITY ) 
What: Thrice-annual Adopt-A-Highway trash clean up 
When: KICK OFF WITH COFFEE AND DOUGHNUTS--7:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25 th.  The event will likely not last more than a couple hours. 
Where: Highway 90 Bypass.meet at the City Hall parking lot on Coronado Avenue for coffee and doughnuts. 
Who: Any and all Knights and Family/Friends.  If you can only stay for part of the event, you are welcome.  If you can only make it for the coffee, come for the social time.  We also need a couple of drivers to follow us on the highway, so if you cannot pick up trash, you might want to be a trail/lead vehicle. 
Why: Clean up the highway shoulder; satisfy a commitment we made to ADOT; satisfy one of the events for the Community Activity goals. 
Recommendations
1. Wear a long-sleeved shirt. 
2. Wear long pants. 
3. Wear a cap to protect from sun. 
4. Wear leather gloves. 
   This is our First scheduled clean up for the year!    
Coffee, doughnuts, plastic bags and safety vests will be provided on site!

Adopt a Highway project, Annual Appeal Kick-off dinner, Assistance to Brothers/Widows in need, Bingo, Car Show, Care-net support, Catholic Schools support, Children's Christmas Party, Church building fund support, New Year's Eve party, Social events/dinners, Lenten Fish Fry Dinners, Fry Pioneer Cemetery Maintenance, Golf Tournament, Hall Set-up, Officers' Installation Dinner, Keep Christ in Christmas Card sales, Life Teen support, Liturgy support (greeting, serving, etc.), Monthly Coffee and Donuts, Mother's Day Champagne Brunch, Parish calendars, Parish Clean-up, Parish Ministry Fair, Parish Picnic, People with Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie Roll Campaigne), Pro Life Booth at County Fair and following Masses on 1st Sundays, Raffle fundraisers, Scholarships, Scout Troop and American Heritage Girls sponsorship, St. Joes Camp support, St. Vincent de Paul support, deceased Brother Walkway maintenance, and Council's Website administration and maintenance. As specific information about each of these become available articles will be published.

 

Council 4584 has an Educational Grant Program that provides financial assistance to high school seniors pursuing higher education. Selection criteria and application details for grants can be obtained at the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish office or from your high school counselor. Deadline for submission is Monday, 16 April 2012.
