Scouting Activities:

- In December, the Troop and Pack held thier annual combined awards ceremony.  This annual event demonstrates the Brotherhood of Scouting and brings both units (each sponsored by the Knights of Columbus) together to show unity in Faith.

Another event both units participated in was the annual Scouting for Food project.  Typically all the Scouting units within Cochise District collect dry goods for the St Vincent de Paul food bank.  However, this year the District did not sponspr the event, so Troop and Pack 464 took on the task themselves. They were able to donate 317lbs of food.

- In January the Troop will move its camping gear from the closet in Kino Hall to the Troop Equipment Shed (donated by a Scouting family) that is located behind the Parish Center.  This storage shed allows the Troop to better organize thie gear, and to keep Kino uncluttered.  The Troop will be hosting the Coffee&Doughnuts on 22 Jan.  The major outing event in January is a camping/hiking event at Parker Canyon Lake.

- February 5th is Scouting Sunday and you'll see all the Scouts in thier uniforms when they attends services. That Sunday the Troop will also be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser to offset the costs of summercamp. Summer Camp, the pinnacle of the Scouting year, typically costs about $250 per Scout.  Also in February, Pack 464 will be holding thier Blue&Gold ceremony.  The Blue and GOld ceremony is an annual awards ceremony and is the major ceremonail event for the Pack's Scouting year.

- Br Josh Wilson has volunteered to be the Charter Organization Representative for the Amerian Heritage Girls units that Council #4584 is chartering.  He will work closely with Heather Ulmen, wife of Br Brian Ulmen, to begin recruiting a committee and unit leaders.  American Heritage Girls is a Christ-focused youth program for girls from ages 5 through 18.
